OUR CREW:

Ryan Rablin

Ryan is the host and co-founder of Shootin’ the Breeze. Ryan and Jeff were so amused by their conversations at work they decided to take their game pro and now you have what we call a mildly intelligent conversation about nothing or anything.

Ryan was born and raised in Minnesota. He spent his childhood in Eden Praire and in many ways, actually in every way has never left the city. He worked for 7 years at a grocery store where each year he made more money and did less work. In 2006 he graduated from the Harvard of the Midwest, St. Cloud State University. Ryan has a degree in broadcast journalism and somewhere along the way managed to fool them all and win an emmy, so think of that next time he says something idiotic on the show.

Ryan enjoys spending time with his friends, who are the very same friends he grew up with in high school. One of those friends he likes a little more than the others, her name is Kaylee. In his spare time you can find him watching sports or movies and when he’s really feeling active he may actually play a sport.  Ryan currently lives in Edina, MN

Jeff Goldberg

Jeff likes to talk. Probably too much.

He is also a bit of a nomad. He was born in Washington, DC, raised in Maryland, went to college in Michigan, and has worked in Montana, Florida, California, and now Minnesota. So don't ask him where he's from. Because he doesn't really know.

Jeff says he is very excited to be part of the "Shootin' The Breeze" team , despite feeling pretty certain this show will expose his tremendous lack of knowledge on the subjects of television, movies, music, and pop culture in general. But we will encourage Jeff to press on, reminding him often of the words he stands by: "fake it til ya make it."

Leah Beno

Breaking up the man cave chat Leah brings some female perspective to Shootin the Breeze. Originally from Michigan, Leah graduated from Michigan State University She’s been working in TV news the past seven years. After bouncing around the country Leah landed in the Twin Cities two years ago and loves it! STB is Leah’s first experience with radio but good conversation with good friends is always a good time.

Tim Grossklaus

Tim is the producer, technical liaison, and chili cook for Shootin’ the Breeze. One day, whilst slaving away at his day job, he heard the semi-coherent ramblings of Jeff and Ryan as they talked about their fictional radio show. After asking a few questions and explaining the inner-workings of this new thing called “the internet,” Tim volunteered his services as producer for the venture.

When not producing podcasts (which now includes our sister ‘cast: MinnesoTunes), Tim enjoys watching movies, seeing live music and plays, and spending time with his peekapoo, Spencer.

OUR THEME MUSIC:

Our theme music is “Shootin’ the Breeze” by Johnny Duke and the Aces from their 2006 album “Taillights”. You can purchase that song and more on Amazon and in iTunes. You can find more information about Johnny Duke at his website JohnnyDukeMusic.com.
